Overview

Apple Pay QR is the QR payment scheme of Apple Pay, Apple's mobile payment and digital wallet service. Apple Pay supports QR code payments for in-app and online merchant transactions across its ecosystem. Apple Pay has billions of devices worldwide with support in 60+ countries and integrates with major card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).

QR Format

Apple Pay QR uses QR Code symbology with a proprietary Apple Pay UR payload (URL QR). The QR payload contains the Apple Pay transaction token and merchant data. Apple Pay QR is designed for merchant-initiated and customer-presented payment flows.
