Overview
BoC Pay (and BoC Pay+) is Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited's cross-border mobile payment app for the Greater Bay Area [1, 2, hk-cro]. Distinctive positioning: enables HK users to make payments in mainland China seamlessly without opening a mainland bank account.
BoC Pay supports 7 major mainland banks + automatic currency exchange (HKD ↔ RMB). Customers can pay merchants accepting UnionPay or Hong Kong's FPS QR codes. BoC Pay+ Cross-border Remittance enables HKD transfer → RMB receipt with automatic currency exchange.
