STC Pay

Overview

STC Pay is the digital wallet and digital bank of the Saudi Telecom Company (STC), Saudi Arabia's largest mobile network operator. It is a $1.3B unicorn startup and the leading mobile money platform in Saudi Arabia. STC Pay supports EMVCo MPM-compliant QR payments, P2P transfers, bill payments, mobile top-ups, and financial services. It has 10M+ registered users and processes billions of riyals in transactions.

QR Format

STC Pay uses QR Code symbology with EMVCo MPM-compliant UR payloads (URL QR). The QR payload contains merchant ID, transaction amount, and STC Pay account data. STC Pay QR is interoperable with Mada QR and other Saudi QR standards.
