Rakuten Pay QR is the QR payment scheme of Rakuten Pay (Rakuten Bank / Rakuten Securities), Japan's e-commerce giant's mobile wallet. Rakuten Pay has 30M+ registered users and is deeply integrated with the Rakuten Points ecosystem (Rakuten Super Points, Rakuten Card, Rakuten Securities). It supports QR Code merchant payments, P2P transfers, and Rakuten Points cashback.

QR Format

Rakuten Pay QR uses QR Code symbology with a Rakuten Pay-specific UR payload (URL-based, URL QR). The payload contains merchant ID, transaction data, and Rakuten Points account info.
