Idram

Overview

Idram is the leading Armenian mobile wallet QR scheme, operated by Idram CJSC. It supports EMVCo-compliant MPM QR codes, ArCa interbank integration, NFC tap-to-pay, and joined Alipay+ in July 2025 for cross-border acceptance. Through September 2024, Idram served ~200,000 active QR-payment users with 4 million QR transactions recorded.

QR Format

Idram uses the QR Code symbology with an EMVCo Merchant-Presented Mode (MPM) payload containing a dynamic UR (Uniform Resource) following the URL QR format. Dynamic QR codes are generated per-transaction for variable-amount payments.
