Overview
QR Code Express is Portugal's SIBS static-QR-merchant-payment service integrated with mb-way-qr (MB WAY) mobile app [1, [pt-cro]]. The platform enables individuals to make purchases by scanning static QR codes with the MB WAY app. The structural distinction: A single QR Code Express can be scanned by multiple users + multiple times by the same user — making it suitable for static merchant signage, printed media, physical devices where multiple customers pay against the same QR. This is structurally different from dynamic-QR (single-transaction, per-transaction QR generation).
Each QR Code is created and managed by the Merchant via SIBS Backoffice (SBO) — merchants define billing data, delivery data, contact information fields for customer entry during checkout.
