PhonePe QR

Overview

PhonePe QR is the QR payment scheme of PhonePe (PhonePe Private Limited, a Flipkart-Navigating Business asset), India's second-largest UPI wallet by transaction volume with 400M+ registered users. PhonePe processes the highest monthly UPI transaction value in India and supports QR Code merchant payments, P2P transfers, and bill payments via UPI.

QR Format

PhonePe QR uses QR Code symbology with UPI UR payloads (URL QR). The QR payload follows the UPI 1.0/2.0 UR specification containing VPA (Virtual Payment Address), merchant name, and transaction data. PhonePe QR is fully interoperable with India QR and all other UPI QR standards.
