Line Pay QR

Overview

Line Pay QR is the QR payment scheme of LINE Pay, Japan's (and Taiwan's) dominant mobile wallet operated by LINE Pay Corporation (formerly Line Corporation + Z Holdings merger). LINE Pay has 80M+ registered users across Japan and Taiwan and supports QR Code merchant payments, P2P transfers, and LINE Points integration (cashback rewards).

QR Format

Line Pay QR uses QR Code symbology with a LINE Pay-specific UR payload (URL-based, URL QR). The payload contains merchant ID, transaction ID, and amount data encoded as a URI scheme.
